From carpentry to construction: the vision behind NBT Constructions

NBT Constructions is more than just a family business – it’s the result of Nick and Helen’s shared passion for building. Nick’s journey in the building industry began in carpentry, and during the last years of his apprenticeship, he met Helen, who had grown up around sheds, spending her childhood helping her dad, a seasoned shed builder, on various projects.

When Nick wrapped up his apprenticeship, he was ready to carve his own path without limits. His father-in-law Des suggested getting into shed building, and Nick jumped at the chance to continue crafting his skills. It was the perfect opportunity to build a company with a unique legacy.

So, NBT Constructions was formed. Helen left her office manager role in the distribution industry to pick up the tools and join Nick on-site for nine months. Together, they didn’t just build sheds – they built a reputation for quality and hard work, laying the foundation for a business they could be proud of.

NBT Constructions have spent the past seven years perfecting the art of shed installation, working with some of Adelaide’s biggest shed suppliers. Their expertise, precision, and reliability have made them a trusted name in the industry, known for getting the job done right the first time.
